In addition, another tire was about to go, as was a tie rod, and of course with all that work the car needed an alignment, so I had to spend a lot of money I don't have. There are a lot of expenses I don't have the money to cover, but this is the most recent one and taking care of that would be really helpful. It's taking space on a credit card, which is how I've been paying rent. (I haven't gotten into low-income housing and don't yet have Disability Insurance, just a medical declaration that I'm disabled.) Part of the stigma of shame is the constant leaking of urine. This produces an odor that the women try desperately to conceal, however, to no avail. Please help. I am now in a position where I can barely cover my bills, because the monthly payments due to these cards is huge. A lot of time and planning went into making this special day happen for her. This would have been only her 2nd birthday party ever. Over a thousand dollars was saved up (which was a sacrifice) in planning this special day (2/12/10) for my deserving mother. Unfortunately, there was a snow storm and only 22 people showed up. This was out of the 80 who were invited. Needless to say, my mother was heartbroken because she had gotten her hopes up so high for her special day. Although she was appreciative, she had planned the party to a "t"...from the food to the decorations, and it was very meaningful to her to have all of her friends there with her. I (her 22 year old, full time student daughter) am attempting to throw her another party so that she can celebrate her milestone birthday the right way(with a smile on her face, and all of her friends there to share the memories). Celebrating 50 years of life is important. My mother is a hardworking single woman who is an active member of her church and has a very giving and loving heart. I have tried everything to get myself out of this situation but banks etc won't listen to me. My name is Robin, I am 26 years old and I have recently (6 months ago) moved in with my girlfriend. THings were tight before I moved but now with the increased rent etc I am really struggling and my health is suffering as a result. I have notched up £19,000 of debt over the last 5 or 6 years and although it might not seem like a lot, the interest and repayments are very very high. This means that although I am paying £800 a month to clear them, I am really only paying the interest. I have tried consolidating at a lower interest rate to reduce my payment and clear the debt quicker but the banks are not interested as I got a couple of defaults 5 years ago.
