He is currently training for an over the road position. The training will last for 4 weeks where he does not get paid. We were already struggling due to him missing work before he was fired. I am currently attending school for cosmetology, and have been looking for a job that would work with my school schedule to no avail. If we can not make rent by the 15th we will lose our home. The cabin will be built using the "earthbag" method with local soil. It will be totally off the grid using small solar power and low-fuel wood mass heaters. Furthermore the roofing will be built using used pallets and wall insulation will reuse 10,000 plastic water bottles. Although a great many of the materials are free or low cost I do need to pay for certain materials and labor and delivery.
