Hi,
I am a student currently enrolled in college. I am unemployed and barely manage to survive on the tiny amount of money I receive from family. I live in off-campus housing and currently owe the landlord 6 months of rent. My rent is $515 a month, so that means I owe a little over $3000. I also owe my school $1500 tuition. Right now I barely manage to have enough for groceries let alone afford these bills. I did not qualify for OSAP because my work load in school did not meet the requirements. I was denied a bank loan and am still waiting for a reply about my Canada Student Loan Grant, which would only pay for my tuition anyways. I also applied for several bursaries that my financial aid office offers, but I am also waiting for a reply about those as well. Not to mention the money they give out is very little.
Money is tight for me and I am going to be in a heap of trouble soon if I can't figure out what to do. So in hopes that someone reads this and decides to help me, I really want to thank you in advance for throwing me a bone. Or two.
Thanks and best regards, Jacob. |
